Berlin Wall

Although the Berlin Wall was in the process of being torn down, Marty and Bob were still able to find portions of the wall that were still standing.

On 24 August 1961, Gunter Litfin became the first person shot attempting to escape East Berlin.  Litfin was shot while swimming across the river and died on the West Berlin river bank. Another view of the the wall.
