| Deutche Demokrtisch Republik (DDR) (Former) East Germany After the Berlin wall fell, they ventured into East Germany. During the trip, Marty and Bob entered East Germany through the southern border and travelled in Bob's 1975 Chevy Nova northward through Weisenfels, Magdeburg, Plauen, Dresden, Meissen, Naumburg, Grossenhain, and finally East Berlin. The border crossings had only been open for a short time, and the signs of communist oppression were still prevalent throughout the country. Soviet soldiers still occupied their garrisons as their quest for world domination came to an end. |
